Camouflaged prototypes of German cars are often encountered on or next to the North Loop, but the new Audi RS Q6 E-Tron has been a rare sight so far. Luckily for us, car spotters have nabbed it near the famous circuit driven slowly and were able to snap photos from close by.
The whole vehicle is still camouflaged.
You might be tempted to think it’s just the regular Q6 E-Tron riding on its
usual silver wheels, but a closer look behind the spokes reveals larger brake
rotors and red calipers – a sure sign of an RS version. Wider tires and a more aggressive
front fascia with prominent air intakes at the corners are also clear
indications of the same.
The standard Q6 EV comes based on a
unitized platform known as the Premium Platform Electric (PPE). The same
architecture underlies the Porsche Macan EV.
