Chery’s QQ Wujie Pro is a variant of its QQ Ice Cream model already on sale, but the company expects it to sell like hot cakes with the starting price as low as 79,900 Yuan (US$ 11,000). Compared to the Ice Cream, the Wujie Pro sports a boxier design with different headlights. It is 3.4 meters long, 1.55 meters wide and 1.68 meters tall with 2.16 meters between the axles.
Despite the modest dimensions, the tiny
car seats four people in a cozy-looking interior with orange accents. The
infotainment system screen on board measures 12.9 inches corner-to-corner.
Examples of premium features include wireless charging, surround view cameras
and power-adjustable front seats.
In its range-topping implementation, the
EV utilizes a single motor rated at 95 PS. It is enough to
sprint 0-50 km/h in 4.8 seconds. The top speed lies at 125 km/h, and a full charge can take you as far as 408 km, the
manufacturer claims.
