Mini’s latest special edition model has been unveiled, and it features gleaming white paint that is inspired by one of the arctic’s fiercest residents. Based on the all-electric Mini Cooper SE, the Mini Resolute is perfect for lovers of the cold. Finished in Nanuk White, the name comes from the Inuit language’s word for polar bear. The bright shade is contrasted with unique hood stripes whose color forms a gradient from a light to a dark gold tone and which hide the word “Resolute” within them. Customers who love the white paint can have it applied to the roof and mirror caps, too, or can instead choose to have those elements finished in black. The car comes with Tentacle Spoke Black 17-inch light-alloy wheels.
Inside, the dashboard is finished with
evenly curved lines in a light gold tone that lend the interior a sophisticated
appearance. The sports seat inserts, meanwhile, can be finished in a yellow
checkered pattern with carbon black bolster, as part of the Mini Yours Leather
Lounge equipment package that comes standard on the Resolute edition. Overhead,
buyers can enjoy an anthracite-colored headliner, sun-protective glazing, and a
steering wheel finished in Nappa leather. The bottom spoke of the steering
wheel also has the “Resolute” name printed on it in a gold tone.
The Mini Cooper SE is powered by a 181 hp electric motor that allows it to run from 0-100 km/h in 7.3 seconds. If you prefer to drive in the economical GREEN+ driving mode,
though, you can expect a range of up to 234 km on a single charge,
according to the WLTP test cycle.
The Mini Resolute Edition comes with the
Mini Driving Assistant system, which is intended to enhance safety between
speeds of 10 and 60 km/h. With lane departure warnings, automatic
emergency braking, and active cruise control, the car should be able to ferry
drivers around safely whether it’s dry or snowy.
