Ford is actively working on a facelift of its F-150 model range, as evidenced by this Lariat-spec prototype running around flashing sporty bits. Take a closer look at the running boards and the opening rear window: neither of these details was present on the trucks spotted before, so they could be trim-dependent. It is also easy to notice that staggered wheels are installed.
The headlights appear identical to those
on the latest F-150. The two-light-plus-turn-blinker unit is in
full view in the photos, but we have doubts regarding those C-shaped housings
being the same or not. At the front end, odds are good that the radiator grille
will be enlarged and otherwise refreshed.
The taillights are obviously new as well,
completely different from those of the current F-150 and somewhat reminiscent
of the all-electric Lightning version. We expect the premiere sometime in
mid-2023.
