Haval is getting ready to launch a new full-size crossover SUV so far known only under its factory designation, P04. Judging by these spy shots posted on AutoHome.cn, the model will inherit its interior from the Great Wall King Kong Poer, which is based on the same platform. Among other things, it looks like the P04 will be getting its infotainment system, twin front displays, dashboard with recognizable air vents and HVAC controls directly from the Poer. As for the steering wheel and the transmission lever, they stem from other Haval products.

The exterior images make it clear that the front end mimics the style of the Poer as well. This goes as far as the headlights, the radiator grille, the hood and the fender outlines, although the wheel arches themselves are more rounded on the concept (the Poer has boxy arches). The front bumper on the whole is also different.

AutoHome believes the P04 will reach the market with a wide selection of powertrains to choose from. The main spec will allegedly be a hybrid based on a 2.0-liter turbo engine. The premiere is expected at the Guangzhou Auto Show, and the sales should start sometime in the first half of 2023.
