Hennessey is launching the VelociRaptoR 1000 which takes the new Ford F-150 Raptor R to what it says are “supertruck levels.” What that means is 1,013 hp and 1,152 Nm of torque. It also means special design touches across the entire truck. Keep in mind that the stock Raptor R is no slouch. It develops 700 hp and 866 Nm of torque direct from the factory. Hennessey’s modification on the VelociRaptoR 1000 will result in a 40 percent increase in those figures it says. The modification list to achieve such big numbers is vast.

The Eaton TVS R2650 supercharger is getting thrown out in favor of a larger 3.8-liter blower. Supporting more airflow will be bigger fuel injectors, upgraded fuel lines, and a new supercharger belt. Of course, Hennessey will tune the truck on the dyno and do a slew of on and off-road testing before it releases the VelociRaptoR 1000 to the public.

Every VelociRaptoR 1000 comes with 20-inch Hennessey wheels, 37-inch tires, a front LED light bar, unique VelociRaptor bumpers, and a serialized built plaque. Exterior graphics and badging are a no-brainer too of course. There won’t be any mistaking this truck for one of its “lesser” counterparts.

Production is set up for 2023 and interested customers can get one through Hennessey directly or at participating Ford dealers. The horsepower wars seem to be here to stay if Hennessey has anything to say about it. Now there’s only one thing we want to see.
