Tuning company Hofele moved to a new headquarters not long ago and has now presented its first project completed at its new location: a Mercedes-AMG G 63 redesigned inside and out with only the engine intact. Perhaps most noticeably, the team outfitted the SUV with Rolls-Royce-style suicide rear doors. Rear-hinged doors lend the whole car an entirely different aesthetic feel compared to the original.
The body paint is a standard black
metallic, but the chrome details are now abundant all around. The bumpers, the
radiator grille and the wheel arch extensions are all new and shiny, and the
running boards extend and retract automatically. The wheel diameter is 24
inches.
Orange leather and Alcantara dominate the
interior trim. The rear bench is gone, replaced with a couple of standard seats
with plenty of comfort features including a center console. The headliner
shines like a starry sky, delivering another portion of RR vibes, and the
carpets on the floor are woven from genuine lamb wool.
