The 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon will host a Renault booth, where the car manufacturer will be exhibiting its localized Megane RS Trophy for that market, Response reports. The odds are good that the model will be the last in the automaker’s ‘RS’ performance range. As of 2021, the RS subdivision no longer exists, having been officially renamed to Alpine Cars.
The gallery below features the regular
Megane RS Trophy R and not the Limited Edition for Japan, of which there are
still zero teasers. As of right now, the Megane RS is obtainable in three
modifications. The standard RS spec gets you 280 PS, Trophy
adds 20 horses for a total of 300 PS, and Trophy R keeps the
power at the same level while shedding weight and enjoying other
racing-friendly upgrades.
