The Jaguar I-Pace helped to spur the brand’s electric transformation and it’s been “subtly enhanced” for the 2024 model year. While the changes aren’t as drastic as those applied to the Audi Q8 e-tron, the I-Pace features an “evolved” design with a smooth Atlas Grey grille that gives the model a “simpler, cleaner finish.” The grille also sports a new black and silver Jaguar badge. Elsewhere, designers equipped the crossover with Atlas Grey front blades and additional body-color components. Jaguar says the latter change simplifies and refines the design, while taking away visual mass as the former gloss black accents have been jettisoned.
That being said, a Black Pack now comes
standard on the R-Dynamic SE and adds gloss black accents to the grille
surround, window surrounds, mirror caps, and rear badges. Speaking of options, customers can order a new
contrasting black roof in conjunction with a panoramic glass roof. Buyers will
also find new diamond-turned wheels and optional satin paints. The latter are all-new and customers can
choose between Carpathian Grey or Eger Grey.
Additional changes are limited, but UK
customers will find a new I-Pace 400 Sport.
It sits at the top of the range and features a rear spoiler, an adaptive
air suspension, and 22-inch wheels with a gloss black finish. The flagship EV
also boasts 14-way power Windsor leather front seats with heating and
ventilation. Power is provided by a 90 kWh battery pack, which feeds a
dual-motor all-wheel drive system developing 395 hp and 696 Nm) of torque. This setup
enables the model to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 4.5 seconds, hit a
top speed of 200 km/h, and travel up to 470 km in the
WLTP cycle.
When it comes time to charge, a 100 kW DC
fast charger can deliver 127 km of range in as little as 15
minutes. At home, an 11 kW wall box
charger can deliver 53 km of range per hour and fully recharge the
battery in 8.6 hours. In the UK, pricing starts at £ 69,995 and climbs to
£ 79,995 for the aforementioned I-Pace 400 Sport. U.S. pricing and specifications haven’t been
announced at this point, but we can expect to learn full detail later this
year.
