The part-electric version of the Tank 500 trades its usual V6 for a four-cylinder engine, but an electric starter raises its output to flagship level. It is already available starting from 360,000 Yuan. The standard V6 version utilizes a 3.0-liter V6 along with a starter-generator to deliver 354 PS and 500 Nm of torque to the wheels. The new Tank 500 Hi4-T uses a 2.0-liter four-pot engine and a motor built into the nine-speed automatic transmission. It produces superior 408 PS and 750 Nm of torque.

Equipped like this, the new modification needs 6.9 seconds for its 0-100 km/h sprint and can cover up to 110 km in all-electric mode. Like the other Tanks, this model has a reduction gear and a number of diff locks for heavy off-road driving. There is also Level 2 self-driving tech on board.
