KIA is already preparing the Sonet small SUV facelift according to the latest pictures of the city SUV captured in India by MotorBeam.
Captured testing in India, the updated
Sonet was spotted heavily camouflaged so it is difficult to see differences. We
can appreciate big differences compared to the current model as KIA already
applied significant changes similar to what we have seen in the Picanto.
Talking about the powertrain, we don’t
expect many changes compared to the currently line-up despite a small
fine-tuning to make the engines more efficient and probably adding a higher
density battery pack to increase the electric range on the Electrified GV70
model.
As for the inside, looking at the recently
released Picanto facelift, we can expect to use a bigger screen for the
infotainment system as well as a new digital cluster. It is difficult to know
when KIA plans to release this facelift but we don’t expect it before early
2024 in India.
