Brabus may be best known for its work on Mercedes-Benz models but it has just worked its magic on the new Range Rover P530 and turned what was already a seriously impressive SUV into one that seems like the perfect alternative to a Bentley Bentayga or Rolls-Royce Cullinan. The tuner’s alterations start with the exterior of the SUV. Unlike some other famous tuners, Brabus typically creates new body components a touch more aggressive than the standard parts but nothing over-the-top. That’s the case with its new Range Rover, dubbed the Brabus 600. The front, for example, rocks a new bumper with carbon fiber air intake surrounds and a carbon splitter.
Elsewhere, the tuner has blacked out the
front grille and replaced the original Range Rover badge with Brabus lettering.
The luxurious SUV is also sitting on a set of massive 24-inch forged wheels
developed in-house and also sports new carbon fiber side vents, a rear
diffuser, a rear spoiler, and quad tailpipes.
Driving the Range Rover P530 is a
4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 523 hp and 750
Nm as standard. Brabus has fitted its PowerXtra 600 performance upgrade to
boost these figures up to 591 hp and 800 Nm.
While the exterior and performance changes
made to the Range Rover are relatively subtle, the same cannot be said about
the interior. Brabus has bathed the entire cabin a bright shade of Pistachio
green with colored leather found on the seats, dashboard, steering wheel, door
panels, and center console. It’s quite an eyeful and certainly makes a very big
statement but should Range Rover shoppers want just the exterior and engine
upgrades, we’re sure Brabus would be happy to oblige.
