Toyota has filed a trademark application in Europe for as many as three Lexus model names at once: HZ 300e, HZ 450e, and HZ 550e. It looks like the company is working on a more compact alternative to the Lexus RZ.

The RZ is 4.8 meters long and is obtainable with a dual-motor powertrain rated at 313 PS and 435 Nm. The specific model designation is ‘450e’. It would make sense for the new HZ 450e to utilize the same powertrain. If we had to guess, the entry-level HZ 300e sounds like a 2WD/single-motor car, while the HZ 550e is obviously the top spec.

Lexus has yet to comment on any of this info. The HZ has not been formally introduced yet.
