Italian automaker 777 Motors has posted the first live photos of its hypercar model named exactly that. It also revealed that the engine output would be higher than promised back in June, by 60 horsepower.
The 777 Hypercar runs on a special
synthetic fuel mix and has a 4.5-liter V8. The original announcement had
claimed that it would be able to produce up to 730 PS and rev
up to 9,000 RPM without any forced induction. The company has now managed to
ramp up the output to 789 PS. It has not provided any details
beyond that, but we suppose the fuel mix contents could be different.
With a curb weight of just 900 kilos, the car is supposed to generate 2,100 kilos of downforce at 370 km/h. It is also expected to withstand
lateral loads of up to 4 G on the racetrack. The launch time and other dynamic
parameters remain unknown. As far as the market positioning, the Hypercar is
advertised as a Le Mans racer substitute for amateur racing. It doesn’t comply
with any single set of racing regulations and is intended to be a track weapon
purely for fun. It is not road-legal, either.
Only seven examples will be made and sold
from € 7,000,000 each. The company says it will not be delivering the Hypercars
to their owners – instead, they will all be kept in its private garage near a
racetrack in Monza. The first vehicles are expected to be finished in 2025.
