Chinese automaker Haima plans to launch sales of a new all-electric MPV called EX-00 next year. The final production version will retain all the main features of the concept minivan shown here, including the retro-inspired two-tone paint job. All prices are pending.
The original idea of the van belonged to
IT Box, a subsidiary of FAW Group. The concept vehicle hit the spotlight two
years ago, but hasn’t made it into the news again until now.
According to unofficial sources, the MPV
is rather compact at 4.5 meters long and 2.85 meters wide. The seat layout is rather remarkable with just one driver’s seat
at the front, one more in the middle row, and three more at the back (seat
formula: 1+1+3=5). Those at the rear get access to their own multimedia display
at the ceiling, an independent climate control system and other nice features.
When full, the Haima EX-00 is expected to
cover roughly 480 km on a charge. The rest of the parameters
haven’t been revealed yet.
