The redesigned 2024 Kia Sorento now starts with a base MSRP of US$ 31,990, which reflects a US$ 1,060 increase compared to the pre-facelift version. However, it’s worth noting that the highest trim level has seen a more substantial increase, with the 2024 X-Pro SX Prestige AWD being US$ 3,400 more expensive than its 2023 counterpart, the X-Line SX Prestige AWD. Here’s a breakdown of the 2024 Sorento pricing, along with some of the features that buyers can anticipate. It’s worth noting from the start that these prices do not include destination charges of US$ 1,375. Additionally, they do not account for any pricing adjustments that a dealer might ultimately decide to apply to a specific 2024 Sorento. As Kia points out, dealers have the authority to set the final price of vehicles.

With that out of the way, the base Sorento LX comes in front-wheel-drive guise only and starts at US$ 31,990. Those who want AWD will need to pony up at least US$ 36,390 for the S AWD trim. That’s a US$ 1,500 increase in price over the 2023 X-Line S AWD which starts at US$ 34,890. The priciest FWD trim for 2024 is the SX and it starts at US$ 41,690. It comes with Kia’s panoramic dual-screen displays, a digital rearview mirror, and a Digital Key feature where one’s phone can be used to lock and unlock the vehicle. The Sorento X-Line trims all come standard with AWD and start at US$ 41,690 too.

 

Finally, the most expensive version of the Sorento is the new X-Pro SX Prestige. While it might be US$ 3,400 more than the previous range-topping Sorento it’s worth noting that it’s a bit different. The 2023 X-Line SX Prestige AWD didn’t come with all of the upgrades that this new 2024 X-Pro trim does. Features include 17-inch wheels and all-terrain tires from BF Goodrich. All X-Line and X-Pro models get unique bumpers, a gloss black grille, a center-locking differential, open-pore wood trim, and leather upholstery.

Pricing for the hybrid and plug-in versions of the Sorento haven’t been announced but Kia says to expect them later this year as 2025 editions. They’ll come from a production facility in South Korea while the gas-only versions now on sale come from Kia’s West Point, GA facility.
