Genesis has revealed a unique iteration of the GV70, known as the “Snow” edition, created in partnership with tuner Delta 4×4 to cater to winter sports enthusiasts. The snow-themed SUV closely resembles the Genesis GV70 Camping Gear Black Edition presented in Korea and the GV70 Project Overland offered in Europe. This similarity arises from the shared bodykit and comparable off-road enhancements provided by Delta 4×4 across all three models.
The GV70 Snow stands out with its white
paint, which serves as effective camouflage in snowy mountain environments.
Additionally, it includes a pair of custom-made skis provided by the Swiss
company Anavon, as part of its collaboration with Genesis. Other than the skis,
the SUV features a custom roof rack, a set of 40-inch LED bars by Vision X, and
four Baja Design Fog Lights mounted on the front bumper. These ensure that you
have enough light to explore the mountains during all hours of the day,
independently of the weather conditions.
More importantly, the GV70 Snow is
equipped with a fresh set of high-traction BF Goodrich KO2 tires (265/60R18)
mounted on black Klassik B Rugged Wheels. These new tires are complemented by a
suspension lift kit that enhances ground clearance and fender extensions to provide
a wider stance. The company has not mentioned any performance modifications. As
a reminder, the most powerful ICE-powered version of the GV70 is equipped with
a turbocharged 3.5-liter gasoline engine that delivers 375 hp and 530 Nm of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels through
an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Genesis GV70 Snow was revealed at the
White Turf event in St. Moritz, Switzerland, an annual “luxury equestrian
event.” While Genesis hasn’t confirmed if the model will be available for sale
or if it will remain a one-off, there’s a possibility that a similar kit may
become available to Genesis GV70 owners in the future, considering Delta 4×4’s
history of providing such modifications. Genesis already offers a range of
camping-focused accessories for its SUVs in Korea.
