Geely’s Zeekr, one of the electric vehicle manufacturers, is set to unveil its latest model, the Zeekr 001, on February 27. The company has teased the introduction of a cutting-edge “full-stack 800V high-voltage system” and highlighted its prowess in charging speed, driving modes, and thermal management.
The Zeekr 001 offers a choice between two
powerful batteries: 95kWh and 100kWh. With claims of setting new standards in
charging speed, Zeekr aims to revolutionize the electric vehicle market.
Additionally, the vehicle features “electric drive 4 black technologies,”
providing 10 driving modes for enhanced acceleration performance. The PTM 2.0
global thermal management system further enhances energy utilization efficiency
with its 22 working modes.
According to reports, the Zeekr 001 has
undergone significant upgrades in appearance and configuration. It utilizes
800V high-voltage platform technology and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon
8295 chip. The addition of a 35.5-inch AR-HUD head-up display enhances the
driving experience. Notably, the front bumper has been redesigned, offering
optional lidar and electric tow hooks. With dimensions of 4977/1999/1545 mm
and a wheelbase of 3005 mm, the Zeekr 001 promises a spacious and comfortable
ride.
Powering the Zeekr 001 are several
configurations, including dual motors with outputs of 270kW+310kW and single
motors with 310kW. These motors are complemented by Sichuan Times ternary
lithium batteries or lithium iron phosphate batteries, catering to different
performance preferences. The Zeekr 001 represents a significant leap forward,
boasting over 2,000 assembly-level component assemblies and more than 1,000
improvements over its predecessor. Described as ushering in the “hunting 2.0
era,” the vehicle promises comprehensive evolution across electricity, driving
control, cockpit, intelligence, and safety features.
