Chery will soon launch its next Tiggo 8 facelift in China, but the date remains unknown. Judging by the images uploaded to the database of the country’s Industry Ministry, updated looks will be the main selling point.
The new Tiggo 8 now looks more like its
senior cousins – the Tiggo 8 Pro and Tiggo 8 Plus. It sports a new front
bumper, different headlights and a polygonal radiator grille with a thicker
bezel than before. The hood also appears to have been redesigned. The interior
is not shown yet, but we expect the same updates as in the Pro/Plus versions.
From the technical perspective, the model
number 8 will most likely stay unchanged. In China, it uses 1.5-liter turbo
engine to drive the wheels with 156 PS and 230 Nm of torque through either a six-speed manual transmission or a DCT.
