Jeep is basking in the shadow of today’s eclipse by introducing a new NightHawk package for the 2024 Gladiator. It costs US$ 5,295 and embraces the dark side. Available on the entry-level Gladiator Sport, the package transforms the mid-size truck into a stylish and better equipped off-roader. Starting with the exterior, the model features black accents and 20-inch gloss black aluminum wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires.
Buyers will also find deep tinted windows
as well as a body-colored hard top. They’re joined by body-color fender flares,
rock rails, and power heated side mirrors. The package can be ordered with an
assortment of exterior colors including Anvil, Black, Bright White, Hydro Blue,
Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, and Silver Zynith.
The upgrades aren’t just skin deep as the
SUV comes equipped with heavy duty Dana 44 axles with 3.73 gearing and an
“anti-spin” rear differential. Rounding out the highlights are remote keyless
entry, power windows and locks, and a standard automatic transmission. Pricing
starts at US$ 43,190 and production will be limited to 2,000 units for the U.S.
and Canadian markets. The model is currently available to order, although Jeep
didn’t say when deliveries will begin.
Upgrades aside, all 2024 Gladiators are
equipped with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that develops 285 hp and 352 Nm of torque. The model also has a 5′ bed as well as an
updated interior that now comes equipped with a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5
infotainment system. Other highlights include air conditioning, an eight
speaker audio system, and LED interior lighting.
