The Cadillac Escalade-V is an absolute beast. It is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 churning out 682 hp and 885 Nm, figures once reserved for market-leading supercars. Hennessey Performance has now made it even quicker with its H850 package. To boost the SUV’s performance, the Texas tuner has installed a new air induction system, an upgraded supercharger, high-flow cylinder heads, a custom camshaft, an upgraded throttle body, and fitted both a new intake and exhaust valves. It has then tuned the Escalade-V’s ECU, allowing it to now churn out 850 hp at 6,200 rpm and 1,159 Nm of torque at 4,600 rpm.

Those figures aren’t quite as extreme as those offered up by Hennessey’s flagship upgrade package for the Escalade-V but it’ll be more than enough to scare even the most speed-hungry owners. Hennessey hasn’t published acceleration and top speed figures for the Escalade-V with its H850 package. What it has done is show it racing a bog-standard Ram 1500 TRX and thanks to its additional grunt, it easily pulls on the almighty pickup truck. That’s impressive considering the TRX can hit 96 km/h in 4.5 seconds and run down the quarter mile in just 12.3 seconds.

Each H850 from Hennessey will come with a serial-numbered engine plaque and special badging. It can also be optioned with 22-inch gloss black or polished silver wheels. Pricing for the kit hasn’t been disclosed.
