What seems to be a near production prototype of the facelifted 2025 Cadillac Escalade V was taken out on a drive to McDonald’s without wearing the usual camouflage wrap. Thankfully, spy photographers were there to take snapshots that reveal the entirety of the SUV’s updated styling inside-out, giving us an early look on the upcoming updates which bring the ICE-powered Escalade more in line with newer members of the Cadillac range. The redesigned face of the Escalade features a new set of lighting units inspired by those in the Lyriq. The main beams have been moved to the lower portion of the headlights, further emphasizing the vertical LEDs. The bumper has been tweaked accordingly, adopting a more sculpted look, a seemingly larger grille and more complex lower intakes. Note that this is the Escalade V which explains the sporty stance and the special badging.

The profile is largely carried over from the existing model, besides the new 24-inch alloys which are nicely filling up the massive wheel arches. The wheels are shod in Bridgestone Alenza A/S 02 rubber measuring 285/40R24. The tail looks pretty much unchanged but a closer look reveals a pair of slimmer reflectors and a slightly reprofiled rear bumper which retains the quad tailpipes.

The overhauled interior appears to be shared with the fully electric Escalade IQ, incorporating the massive 55-inch display covering the entire width of the dashboard. We can also see the new two-spoke steering wheel and the inclined 11-inch touchscreen on the center console. The prototype has other kinds of equipment lying around the interior, showing that it is still undergoing testing.

At this point we don’t know the extent of any mechanical or chassis upgrades for the facelifted Escalade family. However, the pictured Escalade V will likely retain the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 which makes 682 hp and 884 Nm of torque in the outgoing model. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via a ten-speed automatic.

Judging from the prototypes driving around in public without any camouflage on, the debut of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade should follow sometime in the coming weeks.
