The 2025 Kia Sorento Hybrid costs as much as US$ 4,400 more than the outgoing model in the U.S. but will continue to sit in the middle of the broader Sorento range. Last year, the 2024 Sorento Hybrid EX FWD started at US$ 36,690, excluding a US$ 1,325 destination charge. However, for 2025, the starting price has increased to US$ 38,690, and the destination fee has jumped to US$ 1,375. Shoppers who opt for the Hybrid EX with all-wheel drive will need to cough up at least US$ 40,490, a US$ 1,500 increase over last year’s model.

Kia’s 2024 Sorento Hybrid range was topped out by the US$ 42,490 SX-P. The flagship variant is now priced at US$ 46,890 and is named the Sorento Hybrid SX Prestige. This version features several additional features not found on the Hybrid EX, including a suede headliner, ventilated front seats, and Kia’s Advanced Digital Key 2.0. Additionally, the SX Prestige sports a curved panoramic display with dual 12.3-inch screens that support over-the-air updates and Kia’s Digital Features and Services. All versions include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard.

Powering all 2025 Sorento Hybrid models is a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a 1.5 kWh battery and a 59 hp electric motor. The SUV produces 227 hp and 350 Nm of torque and is exclusively equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission. This is the same powertrain as the pre-facelifted 2024 Sorento Hybrid. Kia will also sell the facelifted Sorento as a plug-in hybrid but has yet to provide specifications or pricing details for this model.

The non-hybrid 2025 Sorento range starts at US$ 31,990 for the front-wheel-drive LX. The priciest Sorento is the X-Pro SX Prestige AWD, starting at US$ 47,390.
