Apocalypse Manufacturing has a wide portfolio of bizarre and brutal-looking vehicles built as if to survive nuclear war, but its latest project balances on the thin line between family recreation vehicle and zombie apocalypse survivor machine.
Jokes aside, it is a Jeep Gladiator
outfitted with a functional third axle, heavy-duty wheels wrapped in off-road
tires, a scratch- and dent-resistant camo paint coat, and a rugged body kit for
driving over raw terrain. What sets it apart from most of the tuner’s other
projects is that it also doubles as a capable picnic rig.
To that end, it sports a massive roof
rack, an awning for dining out in the open, an access ladder, and multiple
fresh water cans. The bed houses a diesel generator, a propane grill set and
other camping-friendly accessories. The interior features a TV set and climate
control. Last but now least, an outdoor shower is provided.
A conversion like this one will set you
back at least US$ 150,000, donor SUV not included.
