The Japanese automaker is celebrating its 90th birthday this year, and will be releasing a special X-Trail batch to mark the occasion. The novelty boils down to minor styling tweaks. The SUV rides on 18-inch wheels with a black finish, has copper-tinted roof rails and matching accents in the front grille and the side mirror covers. The interior follows suit with coppery stitching all around.

The 90 Anniversary Edition also includes some options not usually included in the base spec, such as surround-view cameras, a digital rearview mirror and an HDMI port for more infotainment connectivity options. Prices in Japan start from the equivalent of US$ 23,200.
