Following the death of the 300, Chrysler’s lineup has been looking rather sad. To fix this, they’re dusting off the Voyager moniker and slapping it on a value-focused minivan. If this strategy sounds familiar, it should as the Voyager originally returned as the poor man’s Pacifica in 2019. However, it was relegated to fleet status by the 2022 model year and remained there largely forgotten. It’s now back and looking exactly as it did before as the minivan eschews the Pacifica’s facelift. While that creates some distance between the two models, it means the Voyager looks nearly a decade old.

While it won’t win any beauty contests, the van has an acoustic windshield, power sliding doors, and a power liftgate. They’re joined by 17-inch aluminum wheels and a limited color palette that includes Bright White, Diamond Black, and Red Hot. Despite the focus on value, the minivan comes nicely equipped with heated leatherette front seats that have power adjustment and memory on the driver’s side. Customers will also find a heated steering wheel, a tri-zone climate control system, remote start, and second-row sunshades.

The seven-seater also sports a 7-inch cluster display as well as a 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. They’re joined by a six-speaker audio system, a Super Console, and second- and third-row Stow ‘n Go seats. Rounding out the highlights are adaptive cruise control, rear park assist, and a blind-spot monitoring system with rear cross path detection. Power is provided by a familiar 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with 287 hp and 355 Nm of torque. It’s connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to the front wheels.

Dealers are currently accepting orders and pricing begins at US$ 39,995 before destination. This suggests the Pacifica could be in for a sizable price hike as the current model starts at US$ 39,645. While pricing remains to be seen, Chrysler revealed the Pacifica lineup will drop the Touring and Touring L trims and gain a new Select variant.
