Toyota is looking to make the 2025 Corolla fresh and enticing for 2025, introducing a new FX Special Edition, all while keeping inevitable model-year price hikes to a minimum. Like last year, the cheapest version on offer is the Corolla LE priced from US$ 22,175, excluding a US$ 1,135 destination and handling fee. This makes it slightly pricier than the US$ 22,050 commanded for last year’s model, and the destination fee has also swelled from US$ 1,095, a change that’s reflected across the rest of the Corolla range. Customers will get a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 169 hp and 205 Nm and mated to a CVT for their hard-earned money. The LE, like all other 2025 Corolla models, comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, which includes features like Lane Departure Assist with Steering Assist and Proactive Driving Assist. It also has 16-inch wheels as standard.
Those willing to spend a little more can
go for the Corolla SE. Priced at US$ 24,615 compared to US$ 24,490 last year,
the SE can be optioned with a larger 10.5-inch infotainment screen and adds
power-adjustable seats, among some other small add-ons, including a revised
front grille and two-tone paint schemes.
Then there’s the new FX Special Edition.
It’s based around the SE trim and adds a unique rear spoiler, lowering springs,
and 18-inch satin black wheels with machined accents. Found inside are
Moonstone sport fabric seats with orange stitching and a 10.5-inch screen as
standard. It’s offered in Midnight Black Metallic, Ice Cap with a Midnight
Metallic Black roof, and Underground with a Midnight Metallic Black roof.
Prices start at US$ 26,500.
The range-topping Toyota Corolla, this
side of a GR Corolla, is still the XSE model, priced from US$ 27,890 compared
to US$ 27,150 of last year’s model. It gets the larger infotainment display as
standard and adds a nine-speaker JBL Premium audio system.
