Brabus might be closely associated with Mercedes, but that hasn’t stopped them from giving the Rolls-Royce Cullinan “an unmistakable 1-Second-Wow Effect.” Wow indeed as they’ve turned the British ultra-luxury crossover into a carbon-clad Toyota GR Century SUV clone. Dubbed the Brabus 700 Blue Sky, the model has been equipped with a new front fascia that features larger intakes with honeycomb mesh inserts. These mimic the Japanese crossover, but Brabus also installed trapezoidal accents as well as horizontal daytime running lights. Moving further back, we can see a Widestar carbon fiber body kit and gaudy fender flares. They’re joined by 24-inch Brabus Monoblock M Platinum Edition wheels, which were specially developed for the crossover.
The updates extend to the rear as the
Cullinan wears a new spoiler and a unique bumper. The latter has an integrated
diffuser as well as cut outs for a black stainless steel sports exhaust system.
Rounding out the highlights are a carbon fiber front splitter as well as carbon
fiber flourishes for the hood and front fascia. The tuning firm also installed
a SportXtra module, which lowers the ride height by approximately an inch (25
mm).
The interior reveals where the crossover
gets its name as it features Blue Sky quilted leather. Elsewhere, there’s a
smorgasbord of Brabus logos as well as carbon fiber trim and shadow gray
accents. Buyers will also find aluminum pedals, illuminated sill plates, and a
custom starry sky headliner with a quilted shell pattern.
Power is provided by a twin-turbo
6.75-liter V12 engine that has been tuned to produce 691 hp and 950 Nm of torque. Brabus didn’t say much about the upgrades,
but noted the crossover can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in five
seconds, before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 250
km/h.
