Yamaha MT-03

Yamaha has unveiled the MT-03 and the MT-10 street fighters at the 2015 EICMA in Milan, today. It is simply the naked version of the Yamaha R3. It has an upright riding stance, a single headlamp assembly, a digital analog instrument console, fuel tank-mounted shrouds with air intake, 298 mm front and 220 mm rear disc brakes with dual channel ABS, 10-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels with 120/70 and 140/70 section tyre at the front and rear respectively, and a different colour scheme compared to the R3.

The Yamaha MT-03 is powered by the same 321 cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that is found on the R3. The output of 42 PS and 29.6 Nm is unchanged. The transmission system is a 6-speed unit.

The MT-03 will compete with the KTM Duke 390, Kawasaki Z300, Honda CBR300F and the upcoming BMW G310R.
