SsangYong Korando ELX 'Red' Special
Edition
With a full red leather interior, a
6-way power adjustable and ventilated driver's seat, powered sunroof and HID
headlights, the Korando ELX 'Red' looks to make good use of its £ 23,495 price
tag.
This special edition model also features
a choice of either metallic space black or metallic techno gray in terms of
exterior colors, while also including an Aisin 6-speed automatic gearbox. The ELX-spec model came with four wheel drive, heated front
and rear seats, 7" infotainment system with sat-nav, a rear view camera
and 18" diamond cut alloys.
Under the hood of the ELX Red is
SsangYong's newly developed e-XDi220 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine, good for 178
PS and 400 Nm of torque, which is delivered from as low as
1,400 rpm.
Of course, with strong competitors such
as the all-new Hyundai Tucson for one, the SsangYong Korando isn't exactly the
type of compact SUV that can afford to not satisfy its customers from a
financial and practical perspective.
