2017 Ford Transit
For the 2017 Transit, Ford has upgraded
the technology and the interior with enhanced ergonomics. The biggest interior
improvement is the walk-through center console that allows for easy access from
the front cabin to the rear cargo area. Cloth 10-way adjustable seats (that are
also heated) give drivers the ability to find the most comfortable seating
position to alleviate driver fatigue.
Upgraded electronics improve the ability
to add accessories with ease, including the high-capacity upfitter switches, a
heavy-duty alternator, and dual-battery system. A new Sync 3 system with
6.5-inch touch screen with navigation is available giving the driver the
ability to drive safer and get to the their destination quicker without getting
lost.
Orders for the 2017 Transit Connect
cargo van begin on-line March 14 with availability in September of this year.
