Mini Countryman 2017
In recent years, the expansion of the
Mini range has not only led to commercial success. The Roadster, Coupe and
Paceman thus experienced a lackluster career. But there is a model that the
brand does not regret one second of launching: the Countryman. Offered since
2010, he has surfed brilliantly on the popular small SUV.
A craze that his
successor, scheduled for late 2016, hopes to perpetuate fighting some
weaknesses of the current generation. For this, it will grow in particular 20
cm, and bordering the 4.30 m. That's closer to the Clubman wagon template, and
places it at about fifteen centimeters from the latest version of BMW X1, two
new crossover with which it will share its underpinnings now. While also taking
their mechanical, starting with the recent three-cylinder 1.5 petrol and
diesel, together with the four-cylinder 2.0 for Cooper S and JCW.
This growth crisis will allow rear
passengers to be more settled, while cargo volume will increase slightly. As
for the look, it always tries to please the many fans of the current model, it
also tries to seduce those who found it too bloated. Less chubby than its
predecessor, the 2017 Countryman does not hesitate to pucker his eyes, to
enlarge its grille and wheel arches his muscles to strengthen its adventurer
side. AWD however, is optional on most versions, like most new equipment
available: HUD, active cruise control, assistance automatic parking, signage
recognition, automatic six or eight reports. As for the arrival of a
Countryman Cooper PHEV SE, a first for Mini, it will intervene in a second
time.
