Bugatti Chiron Grand Sport
The gentle reminder by rendering genius, Theophilus Chin has rendered what a
Bugatti Chiron Grand Sport could look like.
The drop-top
American missile took the title away from the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport
Vitesse, hitting a top speed of 427 km/h. But Bugatti does already have a
successor for the Veyron in its stables, the 2.4 million euro Bugatti Chiron. The standard coupe features an updated 8.0 litre W16 engine
from its predecessor, now developing a staggering 1,500 hp and 1,600 Nm of
torque.
Its top speed is said to be 420 km/h,
while sprinting from zero to 100 km/h should take no more than 2.5 seconds.
Interestingly, Bugatti also said that “this is by no means the end of the road”
for its hypercar, hinting that there’s more speed to be unlocked.
However, reaching for top speeds with a
solid roof is one thing, while to do it without a roof is another matter
altogether. That’s the challenge Bugatti will have to overcome with its Chiron
roadster.
