Ford MoDe:Me and MoDe:Pro
The MoDe:Me has been designed by Dahon,
a folding electric bike that can be placed in a trunk, including the one of the
Focus Electric, a MoDe:Pro version is also imagined but this time by Ford
directly for use as utility bike (eg bike courrier), it is compatible with the
Transit Connect.
Both bikes feature the same electric
assist technology, a 250watts motor and a 9Ah battery.
Connectivity with the iPhone6 allows to
communicate with the integrated MoDe:Link app used as GPS to tell you in real
time the fastest route with the ability to include inter-modality, car, train
and bike, the application also puts-on the turn signals automatically.
For the record Ford already presented
electric bike concepts, but for now - and unlike BMW that already sells or even
Kia that officially launched two models at the Geneva Show, no date or pricing
yet.
