India while on test. Launched in the UK last year, Polo Bluemotion is powered

mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
VW Polo TSI Bluemotion is a part of the

company plan to help save the environment.
As per Zauba, VW India imported one
single unit of Polo Bluemotion late last year for testing purpose. It is not
yet clear whether the car is being tested for Indian launch or for collecting
data, which VW Group usually does, considering India offers a varied climate
options.

Bluemotion stickers. Bluemotion technology integrates features such as
start/stop system, change in gear indicator and regenerative braking which is
also seen on the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. Cars which come in with these features
take advantage of the tax incentives offered by the Government contributing to
better and more competitive pricing.
Apart from the Polo Bluemotion, there is
one more variant of Polo which is on test in India. VW Polo GTI is scheduled
for launch in India as CBU later this year. It receives a 1.8 liter TSI engine

achieved in 6.7 seconds while top speed stands at 236 km/h. It is expected to
launch in a price ranging from INR 17-20 lakhs.
