Hyundai H350 Fuel Cell Concept
Hyundai debuted the H350 Fuel Cell Concept at the 2016 IAA Commercial Vehicle
Show.
Based on the same light commercial vehicle unveiled
two years ago, the new study is said to provide a glimpse into the future of
the brand's LCV lineup.
The powertrain that includes an electric motor, fuel
cell stack, high-voltage battery pack, inverter, and hydrogen tank, is capable
of producing 136 PS, allowing it to reach speeds of up to 150 km/h. The 175-liter hydrogen tank can be filled in less than four minutes and
provides a total range of 422 km.
Hyundai states that the powertrain is
"intelligently packed in such a way that its installation has no impact on
the H350's load area", and, depending on the wheelbase, the van provides
10.5 or 12.9 cubic meters, enough to host five standard European pallets, or
room for a 14-passenger compartment.
