Honda CB650F and CBR650F starts the 2017 with new two
special new colour schemes. Priced at RM 44,730 for the CB650F naked sports and RM 46,850
for the full-fairing CBR650F, availability at Honda Impian dealers will be from
January 23 onwards.
The new colour scheme is Matte Black, with the
choice of a red or white chassis, for both machines. The red-framed CB and CBR
get white lettering with red/white accents, while the white-framed model comes
with white letters and flourescent yellow highlights.
Carrying a liquid-cooled 649 cc DOHC four-stroke
inline-four, the CB650F and CBR650F put out 81.8 hp at 9,500 rpm and 63 Nm of
torque at 8,000 rpm, which, sharp-eyed readers will notice, is 4 hp down from
the 2017 Honda CB/CBR. Fuelling is with Honda’s PGM-FI, and power gets to the
ground via a six-speed box.
Braking is with Nissin calipers in front grabbing
320 mm discs in front and a hydraulic caliper clamping a single disc at the
back. The photos illustrating this article depict the Euro-spec edition of the
bike and the Malaysian versions of the Honda CB650F and CBR650F do not come
with ABS.
The standard versions of the Honda CB650F and CBR650F
are also available in Sword Silver Metallic, Pearl Metalloid White and Pearl
Himalayas White, with black frame, at RM 43,458 and RM 45,578, respectively. All
Boon Siew Honda CB650F and CBR650Fs come with a two-year or 20,000 km
manufacturing warranty, whichever comes first.
