Renault showcased the Renault Lodgy World Edition at the Autocar Performance
Show 2017. The special edition, after its debut at the Auto
Expo, was introduced in India in July last year.
The World Edition brings 25 new exterior and
interior features to the Renault Lodgy. Exterior highlights include a bold,
jewel-studded front grille, fog lamps with chrome satin garnish, two-tone
bumpers, R15 Nepta finish alloy wheels with black wheel-arch cladding, ‘World
Edition’ badge, dual-tone roof rails with chrome satin finish, black &
chrome body side moulding, printed matte & textured B&C pillar
stripping and a rear spoiler.
The World Edition introduces the new Fiery Red
exterior colour to the Lodgy; Royal Orchid, Pearl White and Moonlight Silver
choices are also available.
The interior features include chrome trim on the
dashboard centre, chrome door handles, glossy black foam steering wheel with
dual tone ‘World Edition’ badge, new upholstery with an anodised orange finish
and new anodised orange finish on the centre ring of the instrument cluster and
air vents.
The Renault Lodgy World Edition is available with
the 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine tuned to produce 85 PS and 200 Nm of torque in
the less powerful model and 110 PS and 245 Nm of torque in the more powerful
model.
Drive gets transferred to the wheels via a 5-speed
manual transmission in the 85 PS model and a first-in-segment 6-speed manual
transmission in the 110 PS model. The ARAI-certified fuel economy rating of the
Lodgy is 21.04 km/l for the 85 PS model and 19.98 km/l for the 110 PS model.
