Honda Malaysia has revealed the 2017 Honda Jazz’s
posterior on its website and has announced that bookings are open for the
facelifted model.
As the poster reveals, the new Jazz’s rear end looks
broadly similar to the current model, featuring the familiar vertical
taillamps, chrome garnish and spoiler. What’s new is the bumper design that
looks sleeker and has a body coloured garnish. Although not revealed, the new
Jazz gets a redesigned front bumper and LED DRLs integrated into the headlamps.
Inside, the facelifted Jazz comes with half-leather
seat upholstery and a multi-angle reversing camera as new additions. Other
features carried over from the outgoing version include six airbags, ABS,
Vehicle Stability Assist, Hill Start Assist, Emergency Start Stop signal,
16-inch alloy wheels, touchscreen multimedia infotainment system, a touch panel
for automatic climate control, keyless entry and start, and multi-function
steering wheel.
The current Jazz is powered by the same 1.5L i-VTEC
petrol motor that produces 120 PSand 145 Nm of torque. It is
paired with an Earthdreams CVT as standard across the range, and the claimed
fuel mileage stands at 17.81 km/l.
