If an ordinary McLaren isn't good enough for you,
McLaren Special Operations is the place to go when ordering and specifying that
dream set of wheels.
MSO can extensively modify a 'standard' model at the
request of a customer, as long as the right dollar figure is reached. The
following 675LT Spider, currently for sale courtesy of McLaren Scottsdale,
shows the full breadth of MSO's options and truly is unlike any other McLaren
on the market.
The mid-engine supercar has been
painted in Flintgrau Metallic, a shade derived from the Mercedes-Benz palette.
The car then features satin carbon fiber on the side skirts, hood, rear bumper,
diffuser and front splitter and perhaps of most interest, a pair of Cerberus
Pearl racing stripes on the hood, roof and airbrake.
Further custom touches include bronze wheels,
McLaren Orange brake calipers and a 24 carat gold heatshield around the
exhaust. Interior options include black alcantara and leather, McLaren Orange
seatbelts and satin blue carbon fiber paddle shifters. All up, there are over US$ 90,000 worth of MSO options.
Although not the most expensive 675LT in the world,
we can't imagine any prospective McLaren owners being disappointed with this
creation, as long as they can stomach the US$ 487,572 asking price.
