Ever wondered what would happen if the Perodua Myvi adopted some of the styling cues from the newly-facelifted Toyota Prius c? Well, wonder no more, as such a curious-sounding thing now exists in the digital realm with these renders.

Dubbed the ‘Myvi Active’ by its creator, this “special edition” of the second-generation Myvi features elements from the Crossover variant of the Prius c. These include new headlights, bumpers, side skirts, wheel arch extensions and even the roof rails.

The end result is a much smaller upper grille than the original, with horizontal slats replacing the mesh in the lower grille. Elsewhere, the fog lamps are no longer present and the side plastic cladding gives the Myvi a more rugged look.

The Myvi was first introduced in May 2005, and just recently, Perodua managed to produce its one millionth unit of the popular model. So far, there has been no official word on when a replacement for the Myvi will be introduced, or if it will continue to be based on the Daihatsu Boon/Toyota Passo.
