The Citroen E-Mehari Styled by Courreges has made
its motor show debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Citroen E-Mehari Styled by
Courreges is yet another joint project of Citroen and Courreges.
While the
concept version from the 2016 Geneva Motor Show was in white exterior colour,
the production version features an exclusive Vinyl Black body paint. Increasing
the car’s versatility is a hard top coloured in Gloss Black. Other exterior
highlights include 15-inch GIVE ME FIVE alloy wheels, front windows, tinted
rear quarter lights, rear glass window and “Styled by Courrèges” labelling with
brushed metal effect.
Inside, the Citroen E-Mehari Styled by
Courreges has a black interior with contrasting Bright White upholstery, white
dashboard trim and white TEP seats. Using an “Easy Entry” system, the two front
seats fold with position memory to make space for the rear-seat passengers’
entry. Citroen says that the car is washable both inside and out.
The Citroen E-Mehari Styled by Courreges is 3.80
meters long, 1.73 meters wide and 1.65 meters tall. It is 0.10 metre smaller in
length and 0.10 metre narrower than the regular E-Mehari. The standard model’s
electric motor produces 67 hp and 140 Nm of torque, with a 200 km
range on a single charge.
Citroen will start accepting orders for the Citroen
E-Mehari Styled by Courreges shortly. It will sell only 61 units of this
special edition model, each with a numbered custom plate on the dashboard.
