Maserati has been working on revisions for every
model in its lineup, and has shown some of them to us already. The Frankfurt
Motor Show represents the first time they've all appeared under the same roof with a couple of small additions, too.
The Trident marque's show stand includes the revised
GranTurismo, the facelifted Ghibli introduced in Chengdu last month, and some
updates to the Quattroporte and Levante as well.
A new electric power steering system replaces the hydraulic
unit not only on the Ghibli but also on the Quattroporte and Levante for the
2018 model year. All three of the family-oriented models now available in
GranLusso and GranSport trims, while both sedans feature adaptive LED
headlights.
The Quattroporte S and S Q4 also benefit from the
enhanced engine introduced on the same-spec Ghiblis, the 3.0-liter twin-turbo
V6 kicking out an extra 20 horsepower for a solid 430 hp. Expect that same
revised engine to make its way into Levante in due course as well.
Alongside the fresh sheetmetal, Maserati also
revealed new watches from Bulgari and fashion collection by Ermenegildo Zegna
as well as new financial services from the FCA Bank.
