Renault has released the first teaser that previews
an entirely new concept car, called the Symbioz, which will celebrate its
premiere in Frankfurt, next week. The study appears to have a futuristic 3-door
design, with wide rear fenders, slim LED taillights and a set of large wheels,
with the French company saying it'll give us a taste of the brand's future of
mobility.
The concept's name is derived from the Ancient Greek
word 'sumbiōsis' which means 'living together', as the Symbioz functions
"harmoniously and in permanent interaction with its environment, road
network infrastructure, and the digital lifestyles of its occupants". As
far the implementation of the letter 'Z' at the end, the French company says
that it refers to the Z.E. zero-emission technology that lies beneath its body.
The new Renault Symbioz Concept will be presented
during the press conference at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, starting at
9:50am CET (3:50am EST) on September 12, but it won't be the brand's only
premiere as the new Megane RS will also be there to shine under the spotlight.
