Lexus NX in India will start at INR 53.18 lakh
(ex-showroom India). The Lexus NX is available exclusively in the NX 300h
hybrid model. It is available only in the Luxury grade and an F-Sport variant,
which targeted at the customers demanding more dynamic styling from the SUV.
On the outside, the NX 300h features LED headlamps
with L-shaped LED clearance lamps and LED sequential turn indicators, LED DRLs,
LED front fog lamps + cornering lamps, 18-inch wheels (black + coloured
machining), LED rear combination lamps with LED sequential turn indicators,
gesture tailgate and fixed glass panoramic roof.
Interior highlights include a 10.3-inch display for
the infotainment system featuring navigation, full-colour head-up display,
wireless charging for Qi-compatible smartphones, 8-way power front seats with
memory function for the driver’s seat, front-seat ventilation (Luxury-only),
rear seat switches (Luxury-only) and 14-speaker Mark Levinson audio system.
The NX 300h F-Sport stands out with F-Sport front
grille and bumpers, black mirrors, 18-inch wheels (black + bright machined
finish), aluminium pedals, F-Sport leather steering wheel and gearshift knob,
F-Sport front seats and F-Sport leather seat covers.
The Lexus NX 300h is 4,640 mm long, 1,845 mm wide
and 1,645 mm tall. It has a 2,660 mm wheelbase and a 185 mm ground clearance.
The hybrid SUV is available in India exclusively in AWD drivetrain layout. Its
Lexus Hybrid Drive uses a combination of a 2.5-litre petrol engine and two
electric motors. The hybrid powertrain develops 194 bhp at 5,700 rpm and 210 Nm
of torque from 4,200-4,400 rpm. The NX 300h has a fuel economy rating (ARAI) of
18.32 km/l. Its F-Sport variant has a special sound generator for a sportier
exhaust note.
The Lexus NX’s production takes place at the Kyushu
plant in Japan. It is imported in India as a CBU.
