The Chinese brand Bisu has distributed
official teasers of the serial version, and, according to local media, the
cross was returned to the T7 index. In the Chinese market, the cross-coupe will
be released in August 2018.
According to preliminary information, the length of
the model is 4,820 mm, width – 1,915 mm, height – 1,660 mm, wheelbase size is
2,815 mm. Thus, the cross-compartment was larger than the current flagship Bisu
– seven-seat crossover T5 (4 715/1 830/1 780 mm, wheelbase – 2,760 mm). Judging
by the pictures of the interior, the Bisu T7 equipment list includes a virtual
dashboard, a projection display and a multimedia system with a “soaring”
touchscreen. Also, the model has a motor start button, and it is not located
next to the steering wheel, but on the center console.
It is expected that the T7 will be offered with a
petrol turbo four 2.0 power of 197 hp, which works in tandem with a six-speed
manual or automatic transmission. The drive, most likely, will only be
front-wheel-drive vehicles in China are not in demand.
Recall, the brand Bisu was established in 2016 in
the joint venture of corporations BAIC and Yinxiang Motorcycle Group, outside
the China machine brand are not represented. Coupe T7 will be the fourth serial
model Bisu: in addition to the aforementioned T5 cross, the line also includes
a small SUV T3 and compact van M3. But sales from Bisu by Chinese standards are
rather sluggish: in 2017, 47,245 cars were sold.
By the way, the cross-coupe in the Middle Kingdom is
gaining popularity: such models have long been offered by Honda, Mazda and
Venucia (a joint project of Nissan and Dongfeng), and this year they were
joined by Borgward and Dongfeng. Soon, the coupe-like SUV will also be
presented by Geely.
