In October, Aston Martin confirmed that a Zagato
Shooting Brake would join the Vanquish Zagato family, but has been slow to
actually launch the vehicle. These images suggest that its global premiere is
inching closer and for the first time, provides us with a look at the vehicle’s
stunning interior.
The sole interior shot published by Aston Martin
shows a Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake adorned in brown leather. Behind the
front row is where the Shooting Brake bodystyle comes into its own, as there’s
now a spacious luggage compartment trimmed in leather and carbon fiber accents.
A large glass roof is also visible.
From the outside, these images don’t reveal anything
new, but do show the limited-edition Aston Martin painted white with a black
roof. The British marque has previously confirmed that like the Vanquish
Zagato and Vanquish Volante Zagato, just 99 units of the Shooting Brake will be
built. The Speedster will be the rarest of the bunch, restricted to just 28
examples.
The Shooting Brake is based on
the Vanquish S, thus it is powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.9-liter V12
delivering 592 hp. Aston Martin has yet to say when the Shooting Brake will be
unveiled or when production and deliveries will commence.
