China is entitled to special limited
edition versions of some of the most exclusive cars in the world and Bentley
makes no exception. The
British luxury brand has just announced a Limited Edition Mulsanne Extended
Wheelbase model featuring unique details that reference Bentley’s country of
origin. Available to Chinese buyers only, the model will be handcrafted by
Mulliner in a run of just fifteen units.
The
limited edition Mulsanne is offered in two shades of black: Onyx or Black
Velvet. The former uses a hint of dark blue, mixed with darker tones to create
“the deepest black finish offered by Bentley.” The latter paint is described as
a “richer black-based finish that contains red pigments for a color inspired by
black cherries.”
The
single-tone finish is hand-applied before final embellishment with a
hand-painted gold fine line that highlights the Mulsanne’s waistline and
distinctive rear haunch. Exclusive features to this limited-edition Mulsanne
also include the Mulliner ‘Serenity’ chrome grille featuring an intricate
double diamond quilt pattern and 21-inch ‘Radiance’ 14-spoke wheels in a
polished finish.
As
you would expect, the interior oozes opulence as it reunites the finest
handcrafted veneers, metals, and leathers – all featuring the Mulliner touch.
Customers have more personalization options than with the exterior as Bentley
offers three unique interior color combinations: Newmarket Tan with Burnt Oak,
Fireglow with Imperial Blue, or Shortbread with Redwood.
A
recurring theme in the luxurious cabin is the modern day London skyline, which
can be seen embroidered in each of the four seats and replicated with fine
detail in the veneer fascia facing the front passenger.
Finishing
touches to the exclusive Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase model include polished
stainless steel Mulliner tread plates and bespoke welcome lamps. The limited
edition Bentley flagship is available to order in China now, with pricing
available on applications.
