Roush’s new 2020 F-150 SC and Nitemare
trucks are now available to order at all authorized Ford dealers in North
America, both representing the most powerful street and off-road trucks in the
tuner’s arsenal. The 2020 Roush Nitemare packs a 5.0-liter V8 with a TVS R2650
supercharger system for a total output of 650 HP and 827 Nm of
torque. The tuner claims that 0-96 km/h occurs in just 3.9 seconds.
Standard features on the Nitemare include its
22-inch satin black wheels with a 7-spoke design, Continental CrossContact
tires, plus Nitemare-exclusive graphics. Mechanically, there’s a sport lowering
kit that helps reduce body roll, making this truck more enjoyable to drive on
asphalt.
As for the 2020 Roush F-150 SC, it’s
powered by the same engine as the Nitemare, with the same supercharger
delivering the same power output. However, this is an all-purpose off-road
truck, boasting a custom Fox 2.0 Off-Road suspension, dual tip cat-back
performance exhaust and custom 20-inch satin black split six-spoke wheels with
General Tire Grabber ATX 33-inch rubber.Optional extras include a premium
leather interior package and a Baja-inspired Chase Rack with dual 10-inch Rigid
SR-Pro Series 7,920-lumen light bars.
The 2020 Roush Nitemare will cost you an
extra US$ 19,150 on top of the base vehicle price, while the F-150 SC is a bit
more expensive at US$ 24,000 above base price. Both come with a 3-year/36,000-mile
limited warranty.
