Ford will be offering its Maverick truck in a large number of trim versions, and here is a fresh batch of spy photos that seem to depict the base spec with a front-wheel drive. The test vehicle has halogen headlights, as well as black bumpers and door handles. The wheels are stainless steel, the tires are basic, and there is no sliding window at the rear.

Note that there are no signs of a differential at the rear end, which means that the car is most likely front-wheel drive. The rear suspension also features a torsion beam.

The most basic Maverick on the lineup will likely come in at under US$ 20,000. The money will probably buy you something like a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-pot rated at 180 PS and 240 Nm of torque. Another option might come in the shape of a 2.0-liter turbo-four mill good for 250 PS and 373 Nm of torque.
